Okay, I love Game of Thrones, or rather I love the TV series Game of Thrones and the book series, A Song of Ice and Fire, and I really want the new TV series and the new book (The Winds of Winter) to come out. However I have to wait, and after almost finishing all five books (according to my Kindle I'm 20% through the fifth book A Dance With Dragons) I've gathered some brilliant theories in my head that will not let me rest until I throw them out there for people to view. I'm not to fussed if you agree or disagree with my theories. They are just theories. Please feel free to like or hate them, or post your own. Or not, as you choose. LOL! Also, there will be possible spoilers hear for all the books, so if you haven't read certain ones don't blame me for spoilers. (nods)
Theory Number 1: Jon Snow is the son of Lyanna Stark and Rhaegar Targaryen
I know a few people have said this before me. But I also have a theory that the reason Rhaegar took Lyanna (I won't say kidnapped because I get the feeling that she went willingly. She was a bit of a hard ass from all that we do know about her) is because Princess Elia (Rhaegar's wife) was not the strongest of people healthwise, and there have been visions of Daenerys' (in the house of the undying) and things that Barristan Selmy said about Rhaegar, that suggest he spent a lot of time reading over ancient prophecies. He said "The Dragon must have three heads" and he had two children by Elia. He wanted a third child, maybe he didn't want to risk Elia's life (I giggle every time I say Princess Elia even in my head because Elia is my brother's name LOL!) by making her have another child, so Lyanna was a means to get another child.
There are a few reasons why I think Jon Snow is Lyanna and Rhaegar's son at any rate. Everyone always says that Jon and Arya look like Starks. Ned also thinks that Arya reminds him of Lyanna. So if Lyanna had the stark look, well maybe her genes overpowered the silver hair and violet eyes of the Targaryen line. It could be that Jon looks like his mother rather than his supposed father. Ned remembers that Lyanna died "in a bed of blood" which is how childbirth is often described in the books of A Song of Ice and Fire. It's very possible that Lyanna died in childbirth. No one has said how she died, not directly, so it's a possibility. Which brings me to my second theory.
Theory Number 2: Daenerys, Aegon and Jon are the three dragon heads that have been Prophesied to come to Westeros.
If Jon is Rhaegar and Lyanna's son, Aegon is definitely Rhaegar and Princess Elia's son, and Daenerys is the daughter of Aerys, well, three Targaryens, three dragons right? (anyone who has read the five books of A Song of Ice and Fire will know Aegon is alive, having been raised by Jon 'Griff' Connington as 'Young Griff') This brings me to my next theory.
Theory Number 3: Daenerys will die at the end of the series, giving birth to the new heir of Westeros.
The Maegi said that Daenerys wouldn't bear a living child, but if she is the last female Targaryen she'll have to marry. If she marries, she'll have to get pregnant (because there wouldn't have been a Rhaego if she was incapable) but she would probably die giving birth to her child and either she'll find Drogo on the other side (where everything may be opposite, hence the "He will be as he was when the sun rises in west and sets in the east" stuff) or she'll be brought back to life by some Red Priest or another. But I get the feeling she'll die. I also get the feeling that she'll marry Aegon at any rate. I think if Jon is the third dragon he'll go back to the wall because he's the Lord Commander. Which brings me to my next theory.
Theory Number 4: Daenerys will change how the Night's Watch and Kingsgaurd is run.
Come on, she's a Khaleesi of the Dothraki, I can't see her thinking that men of the wall should Marry and have children, or have sexual relations, unless she wants to make them all Unsullied. It's kinda like slavery isn't it? So I can see her allowing men of the Night's Watch to marry and have children, but I can also see her castrating rapists and giving out nasty punishments to others before sending them to the wall, so I think it'll work out alright. I also think that if that happens, Sam will Marry Gilly and they'll have lots of chubby, smart, cute lil' babies. LOL! I also think that Daenerys might make it a law that a son (or maybe even a daughter) from each family will go to man the wall. After all, we all know about the Wights the The Others who are on the other side of the wall. She'll want it all protected, and as long as she isn't stopping them from marrying and having children then I'm sure a member of each family will be happy to go and guard the walls. I also think she'll be cool with the Kingsguard (or in her case, Queensguard) marrying too. Which brings me to my next theory.
Theory Number 5: Daenerys will eventually forgive Jorah Mormont.
I really think she will. At some point, Jorah will learn a little humility and Daenerys will forgive him when that happens. She's always saying she misses him. LOL!
Theory Number 6: It won't be Tyrion that kills Cersei, it'll be Jaime.
Maggy The Frog as Cersei called her, predicted that Cesei would marry a king and she would have three children, but he would have sixteen children. She then predicted that all of them would have "golden curls and golden shrouds" most likely meaning they will all die. Then the "Valonqar" will strangle her to death. She thinks it's Tyrion, because Tyrion is her youngest brother. She doesn't consider that she is the eldest child. She's older then Jaime by a few minutes but she is still older. She used him kinda badly and you can only treat someone badly for so long before they turn around and attack back. I think Jaime will be the one to kill Cersei for this reason. A possible motive could be that once Tommen and Myrcella are dead, Jaime will hate Cersei for never allowing him to be there for his own children, and he'll strangle her in a fit of passion. I also think that after this happens, Daenerys and Aegon will forgive Jaime for killing Aerys. Especially once they both learn exactly how crazy Aerys was. It might soften them.
Theory Number 7: Tyrion will meet up with Tysha again, and (possibly) he'll meet his child (children) by her.
I really think that Tyrion will see Tysha again. I also have a theory that Penny and Oppo are Tyrion's children by Tysha. I can't recall if Penny and Oppo are twins, I could be wrong. But considering the age differences I could be right. Oppo is murdered because some sailors believe him to be Tyrion Lannister, so it could be possible. Or maybe not. But I honestly think Tyrion will see Tysha again, or he will learn what happened to her at some point. I'd like to think that there will be some forgiveness and maybe tey will go back to their little cottage to live simple lives at the end of the series, or that Tyrion will become Lord of Casterly Rock at the end. That brings me to my next theory.
Theory Number 8: The Lord of Casterly Rock. (which can go one of two ways)
It'll either be Jaime (hopefully with Brienne at his side) ruling Casterly Rock, and Tyrion will be happy in a little cottage with Tysha (huge wishful thinking I know) or Jaime, who killed Aerys, might be forgiven by Daenerys and Aegon, but will be banished from Westeros for his crime rather than killed, and Brienne (I'm hoping because I ship Brienne and Jaime together) will go with him, and they'll be crazy ass Sellswords.
Equally Tyrion could just decide that he wants to go and live in a little cottage with a simple life. You read him wishing to go back to the simple life he shared with Tysha. Or he could do the ultimate piss-his-father-off thing and become Lord of Casterly Rock with Tysha at his side as his Lady wife. That would be awesome either way.
Theory Number 9: Rickon will be "The Stark in Winterfell" at the end of the series
Think about it. Bran can't walk, but he's learning to be a Warg/Greenseer/Magical being right? So if he becomes some sort of holy person (replacing the three eyed Crow, yet another sorta theory) Bran won't be going back to Winterfell to become Lord Stark, now will he? Rickon, however, is kinda being raised by Osha in a wildling village. So not only will he know about his family, but he'll have a sympathy for the Wildling people. Seeing as Stannis is settling Wildlings in the land knows as "The Gift" that Jon Snow is allowing Stannis to use, that would make Rickon their overlord, right? So Rickon would be able to sympathise with them and understand any problems bought before him.
Theory Number 10: Daenerys will meet Arya before she ends up in Westeros.
With Arya learning how to kill people from "The Faceless Men" she's gonna be one kick ass fighter. Maybe, after she kills "The Kindly Man" giving him what they call the gift of death, she might decide to Join up with Daenerys, especially if Jon is working with her, and she might decide to fight. It would be totally awesome if Arya became "Hand of The Queen" when Daenerys took the throne. I know unlikely but I like the idea.
Parings I'm Hoping For Before It's All Over!
Well, I would like to see Arya/Gendry Brienne/Jaime Tyrion/Tysha Sansa/Sandor and Bran/Meera. I also have a feeling that Theon and Jeyne Poole will end up together in the end. After all, with all the shit they went through at the hands of Ramsay they'll just about be able to understand each other, let alone anyone else. I also think Asha is going to kill her husband and maybe find a much more awesome one than the one Euron bloody gave her. I also think that to secure things between Stannis and Daenerys at the end, Shireen is going to have to marry someone. I did think it might be Rickon (if he's the Last Stark in Winterfell) but then again, Rickon is kinda young to be married to Shireen. LOL!
Deaths I'm Hoping For Before It's All Over!
Littlefinger, definitely (I HATE LITTLEFINGER), Euron Greyjoy, Doran Martell, Walder Frey (That Bastard's been alive too long damn it! He killed Robb and Catelyn!), Stannis Baratheon (not because I hate him, but he's too stubborn to give up the throne to Daenerys so he'd have to die eventually), Melisandre and definitely Cersei. (Still hoping Jaime strangles her)
Anybody got anything to say? Please feel free. (nods)
