Skins Series 6 - Good or Bad?

This series of Skins looks like it's going to be one big mindfuck. I'm not quite sure what I think of it yet. We're only two eps in, but this is my random rant and review to what I do know so far. This is just me doing a weird review of Skins. Spoilers ahead if you haven't watched it.

Episode 1 started off in Morocco, at the end of the summer hols. It wasn't too bad although some of the situation wasn't very realistic. For one thing the villa they were staying in wasn't even finished, and didn't have running water. I mean... I would never go on holiday without knowing exactly where it was and whether there was running water or not. Although I suppose it could happen. Also, there are all these issues as to what age these teens are. I mean, if they were of age to go on holiday by themselves, then how comes when they get back, Nick has to have an appropriate adult (even though he has a father - what's up with that) and in season 5, without Alo's consent his parents managed to remove him from college. None of that makes any real sense. I mean seriously, some of the weird stuff that would never happen in real life, happens on Skins. LOL!

Not to say I don't love Skins. I do love it. There are just too many inconsistencies in reality for me to believe in the story line. I mean in the second episode Grace's father has literally had RIch banned from the hospital (and even has flyers of his picture posted all over the place saying that he can't come into the hospital). In real life that would never happen. I found that to be way too over the top. In real life you can't stop someone from going into the hospital. (sighs)

Although the synopsis of the second episode of this season, was all Rich throwing emo tantrums, with Grace randomly talking to him at intervals. Only for Rich to be told by Grace's father, (who has spent the entire episode, ridiculously trying to keep all of Grace's friends from seeing her in the hospital) that Grace is dead.

According to the trailer that I saw for season six,
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TjJW6zqjZBo&feature=colike
on youtube, Grace is still appearing even after it's been confirmed that she's dead, I can kinda tell this because in the trailer she's wearing some random yellow dress and sitting on a swing set, which hasn't happened yet, so her ghost must still be sticking around if she really is dead, and someone is pregnant.

According to E4 there is also supposed to be a Grace episode (I think episode 9 is supposed to be the Grace episode) which makes no sense if Grace is dead. Although considering the lengths David Blood is going to to keep his daughter away from all her mates, it's very possible that if she hasn't woken up (which is possible with Rich totally cracking up). Think about it, I mean weirder things have happened in Skins (like androgynous Franky suddenly becoming a fucking Nympho who's reading to jump in with anybody when she couldn't even trust in someone wanting to be her friend in the first ep of series 5) It's possible that as we never saw a dead body, that David Blood is lying completely about Grace being dead. The whole random pregnancy scan in the trailer is weird too because obviously no one knows who is or isn't getting pregnant. Or maybe it's a metaphor. Take a look at the trailer and feel free to make comments to me about what you think.

Of course if you're not interested in Skins at all, then feel free to ignore this. LOL!
